In October 2021, I set up a volunteer litter-picking group with three aims: first, to help get outside and exercise more. Second, to help clear Darlington of its unsightly litter and create a better place for us all to live. And third, to enable people to forge new friendships and combat loneliness. So far, we’ve cleaned the streets of over 1,000 bags of litter and made lots of new friendships! Click below to find out more.
